Cabbage and Meat Pie Filling
Ingredients:

1 large onion, chopped

3 garlic cloves, chopped

1/3 medium green cabbage,
shredded

1 pound ground beef
1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
1/2 teaspoon ground black
pepper (or to taste)
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning or
oregano






In large pan saute onions over
medium heat until light golden,
stirring occasionally, about 6-7
minutes.

















Add garlic.


















Saute 1 more minute, stirring
constantly.


















Add cabbage.




Saute over medium heat 10
minutes or until no longer crisp,
stirring occasionally.






























Add beef.


















Break beef into small chunks.


















Cook over medium heat until
meat is no longer pink, about 7
minutes, stirring occasionally.


















Add salt.


















Add pepper.


















Add Italian seasoning.



















Mix well. Take off the heat and
cool to room temperature.
