Cheesy Waffles

Ingredients:


2 large eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 cup grated sharp Cheddar
cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
(optional)
1 teaspoon caraway seeds
1 1/4 cups flour








In large bowl, beat eggs with
wire whisk.


















Add milk.


















Mix well to blend.


















Add Cheddar cheese.



















Add Parmesan cheese.



















Add salt.

















Add baking soda.



















Add garlic powder.



















Add caraway seeds.

















Mix well with wire whisk to blend
all ingredients.


















Add flour.



















Mix until smooth. If batter is too
thick, add additional 1/8 to 1/4
cup milk. Batter should be
smooth and pourable. Allow
batter rest for 5 minutes.














Spray preheated waffle iron with
cooking spray. Laddle some
batter onto iron and distribute
evenly. The amount of batter
should be what is recommended
by manufacturer of your waffle
iron.














Close iron top. Cook until waffle
is golden on both sides and can
be easily removed from iron.
Serve immediately, or cool on
cooling rack or keep in warm
oven until waffles are served.
