Ingredients:
3 medium potatoes
1 1/2 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 small onion
1 celery stalk
1 large cod filet (or 2 small)
2 tablespoons all-purpose white
flour
4 tablespoons water
salt to taste, if desired

Ideally, you should have all your
ingredients already cut before
starting to cook this soup
because of the relatively short
time required to complete this
recipe. Of course, you may cut
your ingredients as you go.

Dice potatoes.

In medium pot, bring chicken
broth to boil. Add potatoes.
Bring to boil again, reduce heat
to medium-low. Place pot lid
askew so that pot is almost
covered. Cook for 3 minutes.
Meanwhile, slice celery. CLICK

Add celery to pot.
Cut onion into half-rings. CLICK

Add onions to pot. Cook for
another 5 minutes.
With sharp knife, cut cod filet
into several strips, crosswise.
Cut cod strips into rough
chunks, crosswise.
Add cod to pot.
Cook for 3 minutes. Stir
occasionally.
Put flour into small bowl.
Add water.
With wire whisk, mix well until
smooth.
Pour heavy cream to pot.
Pour flour mixture to pot.
Cook until soup thickens, about
3 to 4 minutes. Stir often.
Taste one piece of potato and
celery. If they are soft, the soup
is done.
Serve hot.
