INGREDIENTS:
1/2 pound frozen calamari rings,
defrosted and patted dry
1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
1 cup all-purpose white flour
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 cup dry white wine
1/2 cup heavy cream
Cooked pasta (kept warm )

DIRECTIONS:
Heat oil in large skillet over
medium-high heat. Reduce heat
to medium-low.
Meanwhile, place flour into small
shallow bowl. Sprinkle calamari
rings with salt, if desired. Place
one or two calamari rings into
flour.
Flip over to coat with flour
completely.
Lift with for or your fingers and
shake excess flour off gently.
Place floured calamari rings into
skillet with heated oil.
Add wine.
Add salt. Cook over medium
heat for 8 to 10 minutes or until
calamari are slightly tender.
Add heavy cream. Stir well.
Bring to gentle boil over medium
heat. Take off the heat.
Serve over pasta.


This dish looks like you might have slaved over it but it
is surprisingly easy to make. Impress your loved ones
with this delicious dish poured over your favorite pasta.
You won't make a mistake if serving it with a white wine!
