INGREDIENTS:

2 cups light cream or half and
half
2 tablespoons ground
bitter-sweet chocolate
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
2 tablespoons sugar (or to taste)



DIRECTIONS:

Place cream into small pot. Add
ground chocolate.







Add cocoa powder.


















Add sugar.


















Stir well with wire whisk. Bring
almost to boil over medium heat,
stirring constantly.
















When it is near boiling (bubbles
form around the pot edges) and
hot chocolate is smooth, take it
off the heat.




Top with whipped cream and
serve immediately.
For those who can't live without their hot chocolate!
This easy recipe can be complimented with a drop
of vanilla extract or a pinch of chili powder.
