INGREDIENTS:

2 pounds lean beef or veal
1/2 cup Teriyaki (or soy) sauce
2 tablespoons honey
1/2 cup white dry wine
1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
1/2 teaspoon ground white or
black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 onion, slivered

metal or wooden skewers


DIRECTIONS:





Slice beef across the grain into
1/2-inch thin strips.


















Pour Teriyaki or soy sauce into
large bowl. Add honey.


















Add wine.


















Add salt.


















Add ground pepper.



















Add garlic powder.


















Mix marinade well to blend all
ingredients.


















Add beef strips.


















Mix to coat beef with marinade
all over.

















Add onions.

Mix all ingredients well again.
Cover with plastic wrap and
refrigerate for at least 30
minutes or overnight.


































If using wooden skewers, soak
them in cold water for at least 30
minutes to prevent them from
burning.
















Thread strips on skewers.






































Grill 5 to 6 inches over glowing
coals 3 to 4 minutes on each
side, or until meat reaches
desired degree of doneness.
Great for a potluck or a family picnic!
