2 cups shelled walnuts, skin on 1/2 cup honey 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
Line two baking trays with parchment paper.
In medium skillet, warm honey over medium heat, until it becomes thin.
Add cayenne pepper.
Mix with spatula to blend well.
Stir with spatula to cover walnuts all over with honey, about 30 seconds.
Spread walnuts in single layer on one baking tray. Bake in preheated oven (at 300 degrees F) no more than 10-12 minutes.
Take baking tray out of oven. Transfer walnuts with spoon onto another prepared baking tray, in single layer. Let cool completely, about 30 minutes, or until honey glaze hardens. Handle carefully - walnuts will be very hot!
