A little cinnamon and rum are all this simple
dessert needs to make it memorable. Also, it is
fabulous with whipped cream!
Baked Pineapple with Cinnamon
Ingredients
1 large pineapple
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon rum (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degree F.
Cut off the very top of the
pineapple and discard.
Place pineapple in a baking
dish. Roast for about 1 hour.
Remove pineapple from oven.
Cool slightly to be able to handle
it. Cut into 7-8 slices, crosswise.
Place slices flat on a cutting
board. Sprinkle with sugar.
Sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
Drizzle with rum.
Serve immediately.
