INGREDIENTS for four:

8 white bread slices
4 tablespoons butter
4 ounces cheese (any cheese
you like: Cheddar, Havarti, etc.)
12 thin prosciutto slices


DIRECTIONS:



Slice bread into 1/2-inch thin
slices.






Spread each slice with small
amount of butter on one side.


















Cut cheese into thin slices (total
of 16 slices).

















Place 4 bread slices buttered
side down. Tow each bread slice
with 2 cheese slices.

















Top each bread slice with 3
prosciutto slices.

















Top with 2 more cheese slices.


















Cover with remaining 4 bread
slices, buttered side up.


















Preheat large ungreased skillet
over medium-high heat. Place
paninis into skillet. Cook over
medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes
or until paninis are
golden-brown.













Flip with spatula and cook for
another 2 to 3 minutes or until
golden-brown.








Serve hot.
