Ingredients:

1 pound frozen edamame (soy
beans), shelled
2 teaspoons olive or vegetable
oil
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon ground white (or
black) pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)


Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Pour olive oil into medium bowl.




Add ground cumin.


















Add dried basil.


















Add garlic powder.


















Add onion powder.



















Add chili powder.


















Add ground pepper.


















Mix well with spoon.



















Add salt.


















Add edamame beans to bowl.
Mix with spoon to coat beans
with spice mixture well.
















Arrange beans in single layer in
baking sheet.


















Roast, uncovered, at 375
degrees F for 15 to 20 minutes,
or until beans begin to brown.








Serve hot as side dish or cooled
as snack.
