Ingredients:

2 c flaked cooked or baked
samlon
1 package cream cheese, at
room temperature (8 oz.)
1 Tbsp lemon juice
4 scallions
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp ground pepper

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 1
Sprinkle salmon with salt.
Step 2
Sprinkle salmon with dried chives.
Step 3
Sprinkle salmon with oregano.
Step 4
Sprinkle salmon with pepper.
Step 5
With a sharp knife, make 4 deep
cuts crosswise in filet, so that
salmon strips are 1-1 1/5 inches
wide.
Step 6
Dab some butter into cuts, 1/2
Tbsp for each cut.
Step 7
Grease baking dish lightly with
butter.
Step 8
Place salmon on baking sheet
and pour orange juice evenly
over filet.
Step 9
Bake in preheated oven at 375
degree F for 30 minutes or until
fish is flaky. Take baking dish
with salmon out of oven and
cool completely.
Step 10
Place salmon into a mixer
bowl and flake it with fork.
Step 11
Add cream cheese.
Step 12
Add lemon juice.
Step 13
Add salt.
Step 14
Add pepper.
Step 15
Cut scallions thinly, crosswise.

Attach bowl to the mixer and mix
on the lowest speed until
creamy, about 2-3 minutes. (You
may also use food processor, if
you wish, but processing time
will be just 20-30 seconds.)

Chill for several hours to blend
the flavors.

Sprinkle reserved scallions on
top of pate.





Serve with crackers.
Step 16
Add scallions to bowl but
reserve 1 tsp for decorating.
This delicious holiday spread is best served with
crackers or small slices of bread.
