Savoy Cabbage With Mushrooms

Ingredients:
1 medium head Savoy cabbage
1 pound Baby Bella Mushrooms
1/3 cup water
1 medium onion
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive
oil
salt to taste
Cut cabbage in half.
Cut each half in half again.
Cut core off and discard.
Cut cabbage into rough
strips approximately 1-inch
in width.
Cut cabbage strips into rough
chunks, about 1-inch in width.
Add onions and saute over
medium heat until
golden-brown, about 4 to 5
minutes.
Pour oil into pot.
Add mushrooms to pot and add
water.
Add salt.
Cover pot and cook mushrooms
for 5 minutes.
Add cabbage to pot.
Cover pot and cook cabbage for
30 minutes over medium-low
heat. Stir cabbage every 10
minutes with large spoon or
spatula.
Serve hot and enjoy!
Slice mushrooms thinly.
