1 egg 1/3 cup sugar 3/4 cup flour 1 cup milk 2 ounces (half-stick) butter or margarine 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 baking powder 2 tablespoon vanilla sugar confectioner's sugar for dusting
DIRECTIONS:
Break egg into medium bowl.
Add sugar.
Mix with wire whisk until smooth.
Add flour.
Add milk.
Melt butter over medium heat in small skillet.
Pour melted butter to bowl with flour.
Add salt.
Add baking powder.
Add vanilla sugar.
Mix batter well. Let batter stand at room temperature for 30 minutes before making waffles.
Spray preheated waffle iron with cooking spray. Laddle some batter onto iron and distribute evenly. The amount of batter should be what is recommended by manufacturer of your waffle iron.
Close iron top. Cook until waffle is golden on both sides and can be easily removed from iron.
Dust with confectioner's sugar just before serving.
