INGREDIENTS:

For the fish:

2 Tilapia filets, 4 to 5 ounces
each
2 tablespoons paprika
2 teaspoons salt (or to taste)
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons dried basil
2 teaspoons onion powder
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon white or black
ground pepper (or to taste)
4 tablespoons unsalted butter


For the mushrooms:

8 ounces sliced baby bella
mushrooms
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)



DIRECTIONS:

Prepare seasoning:
Put paprika into shallow bowl.




Add salt.







Add garlic powder.


















Add dried basil.


















Add onion powder.



















Add dried thyme.


















Add ground pepper.


















Mix well.






































Prepare mushrooms:
Heat large skillet over medium
heat 1 minute. Add olive oil.
















Add mushrooms and sprinkle
them with salt.


















Stir well.


















Cook 5 to 7 minutes, covered,
until soft. Stir occasionally.
When done, take off the heat
and keep warm.















While mushrooms are being
cooked, prepare fish:
Heat skillet on high 1 minute.
Reduce heat to medium. Add
butter and allow to melt, about
30 seconds or less.














Dip fillets on both sides into
prepared seasoning.





































Place fillets in hot skillet.


















Cook 2 to 3 minutes on each
side, flipping over once.






















To serve, place each fillet on
serving plate. Top with
mushrooms. Serve hot.




Tip: Makes 2 servings. For 4
servings double the ingredients.
