Ingredients:

2 small French baguettes (plain
or with onions)
4 ounces shredded Cheddar
cheese
2 ounces powdered Parmesan
2 heaped tablespoons
mayonnaise
4 chives

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Cut baguettes in half, crosswise.
Cut each half in half again,
lengthwise.
Place Parmesan into small bowl.
Add mayonnaise.
Add Parmesan.
Mix with spoon until well-blended.
With flat knife, spread cheese
mixture evenly on top of
baguette slices.
Cut chives thinly, crosswise.
Sprinkle chives over cheese.
Place toasts onto ungreased
baking tray (or cookie sheet)
and bake at 375 degrees F for 8
to 10 minutes or until cheese
melts.
Serve immediately.
Two-cheese Toasts
These open-face toasts are very easy to make.
Perfect for lunch or as a quick snack.
